Die Filterfunktion von gpsbabel ist erheblich besser. Der große Vorteil ist, dass man nicht auf eine bestimmte Punktanzahl reduzieren muss (was unbrauchbare Tracks erzeugen kann). Man kann den maximal erlaubten Fehler angeben (ich halte 8 Meter für einen praxistauglichen Wert beim Radfahren). Der resultierende Track hat dann eben so viele Punkte, wie es nötig ist.

so etwas ist doch mit dem Mapsource-Filter ebenfalls möglich. Man kann dort Zeit, Distanz, automatisch (mehr oder weniger Punkte) oder eine maximale Punktzahl wählen.

Habe die Filterfunktion soeben noch genutzt, da ich einen längeren Track für mein VISTA anpassen wollte.
