Exotisch ist ein Piniongetriebe sicherlich noch immer, doch das dürfte seine Tauglichkeit für Reisen nicht beeinträchtigen.


Naja, da ich der Dauerhaftigkeit komplexer Radbauteile generell nicht traue, freue ich mich, wenn sie unterwegs reparierbar sind. Und was den Bauern angeht:
Habe nix gegen einen Pinon/Gates Traktor - aber natürlich als Ersatz für meine AllwetterBahnhofsmöhre grins !

An meinem Reiserad vermisse ich NIX, was mir Pinion/Gates geben könnte - hätte mir sonst problemlos ein passendes Gehäuse bei meinem Rahmenbauer meines Vertrauens besorgt und dies in meinen Kanarienvogel integriert grins! So jetzt aber in die Werkstatt, um ebendiesem einen zünftigen, rahmenfesten VR-Träger dranzulöten teuflisch!
