Underway in Germany

Just add some kind of Stator with a cut-out where the magnets should interact with the rim. Four coils on a laminated sheet stack with a 120° cut-out should work. Nice jigsaw project for contemplative evenings at the fireplace smile
I would very much welcome such a 'Forums-Generator'!!!

Liebe Grüße
Maja

Hi Maja,
thank you for replying.
I'm pretty sure that the stator you've suggested would be perfect but, just for a joke as I'm undertaking this "project", it seems to be a bit too much ...
In the meantime I've improved the test set-up and got some results.
Of course the 3V peak voltage, measured at no-load conditions, is a bit of a nonsense (i.e. there's no real power behind it)...nonetheless it's better than nothing!!
... outside, you know, the weather is terrible and so ... better trying to invent something in the meantime grin
Ciao.
