light moisture-resistant” , etc. etc.
Just to make an example, Ortlieb labels all its bags as “Waterproof” … then, nevertheless, in its catalogues they declare that the term “Waterproof” can be either IPX3, IPX4 or IPX7 according to EN60529/DIN VDE0470-1.
Since, as matter of the fact, between an IPX3 and an IPX7 there is an enormous difference, isn’t it time to abandon this bizarre “waterproof classification" and definitely pass to EN60529, ANSI250, VDE0470-1 or any other less ambiguous and more universally recognized standard ?
