What do you call those short, stout bicycles that are used at skateboard parks? and also how are they different from a normal bicycle? Are they better, easier etc?

Hello

Are you talking about these?
They are called BMX. They don't have gears and are better when used at skateboard parks, but on the road you better use something else, e.g. a Trekking bike.
