I (m 63) will retire soon. I am still quite fit and plan a tour by bicycle in Dec. 2004 for approx. 4 months along the traces of Bruce Chatwin's "Patagonia": Peninsula Valdez (wales & penguins); Chubut-Valley (Gran Canon De Chubut & dinos); Ruta 40; Perito Moreno and Torres de Paines National Parks (Glaciers); Ushuaia (Tierra Del Fuego); Cabo De Hornos; Punta Arenas (Estrecho De Magallanes); Puerto Natales; Carretera Austral General Pinochet; Santiago De Chile. Backpackers/Tent; approx. 100 kms/day. My major interests are: landscape, flora & fauna, people, cultural events.

Where are you now? I´m planning a travel in my bike to Patagonia in february 2005, and would like to know some things about cycling in those lands.
