Hello,

so my next bike trip destination is chosen: Ghana.

I'll be travelling 3,5 weeks in this Africaan country. Does anybody have tips or internet links for me?

I'm looking for nice sights, recommend routes (also the tough ones), things I have to do, things I have to try, recommend hotels or anything else...

Thomas

Dear Thomas,
you have got an e-mail with an attached pdf-file with a report about travelling in Ghana from a German adventure magazine.

In general: You should know that Ghana's economic life would be a desaster without the engagement and work of the women. If you have a serious problem, ask a woman, not a man.

If you like to hear one of best musicians of Ghana's great music tradition (todays music is not moving any more to important success, but there is still pop music development about 100 years which is about double time of rock'n'roll development in the west - using brass instruments has been generated by German military music at the end of the 19th century):
Sweet Talks "Hollywood Highlife Party"/A. B. Crentsil "Moses" (african dancefloor classics adc 302/popular african music) - 2 original albums from 1978 and 1983 on 1 CD with enjoying talkative song texts, fascinating rhythm and exciting musical arrangements.
Liebe Grüße! Ciao! Salut! Saludos! Greetings!

Hi,

when have you been to the Animal Sanctuary (close to Kakum). The Dutch owner told us to open a restaurant... on your pictures it looks like he has finished it grin
