Hello,

take a look at this Map based tool. Click on row "Karte" and "nationale Routen". On a map Window the swiss bicycle routes 1 up to 8 are shown when you click on "national". Or click on "alle Routen" and zoom into your favorite region.

Hello

It depends what you want to do. Do prefer flat routes or do you not fear the ups and downs.

The veloland route nr. 8 is rather flat and easy to cycle. The number 4 is more challangeing. You could also make a combination of both. Or from Berne you can continue on the local route nr. 34 to Fribourg and return to Thun again on route nr. 4.

A classic is from Interlaken to Grindelwald, over the Grosse Scheidegg and down to Meiringen.

We are planning MTB routes, cycling with childs, any trekking,

Any additional recomendation?

Greetings from Costa Brava i Spain

Hi Toni

In August it is normally nice and warm, but it can be rainy for two weeks and the temperature can fall down to 10°. There is no guarantee for a sunny holliday.

I’m not familiar with MTB routes, but the local tourist information can provide you with suggestions. It is worthwile cycling down, or if you prefer cycling up the Simmental from Zweisimmen to Spiez.

Impressing places can reached on foot as the waterfall Iffigfall (maybe by MTB as well) or the craterlandscape at the Trüttlisbergpass, take the cable car to Betelberg. For the fun for the kids go on a boat-ride on the Lake of Thun or Brienz

Que disfrutas tus vacaciones en las montañas

If you are interested in the alpes, visit the alpine museum in bern (www.alpinesmuseum.ch). And if you are interested in art, there is a very good and also architectional interesting Museum in Bern, the Paul-Klee-Museum (www.zpk.org)

Greetings,
Holger
