Did anyone here made a tour of Romania by bike? How was it?

Hi,
I´ve been cycling in Romania several times and would´nt want to miss any single minute of it (with the exeption of camping on a steep hill at a frosty night).
What part of Romania do you want to visit? I liked the carpats (the southern part especially) best, the lowlands of Walachia were rather boring. I can´t say anything about the black-sea or the danube delta, which is supposed to be pretty to- I´ve not been there yet.

I wouldn´t miss it either. We made a tour (3 weeks in summer 2006) clockwise starting in the northwest heading through Maramures, East Carpathian Mountains, Moldovia, Hungarian part, German part (Siebenbürgen), South Carpathiian Mountains.

Can give you some details if needed. There is also a guy called cyclist who did lots of tours in Romania.
