It seem to me that the bicycle organizations is a bit greedy because they want money for everything.
I dont think it will be more safe for bicycles on the road if they keep the good maps/rouths hidden for the public. They do say they work for safety and bla bla bla, but i think at least they can make safe rouths more aviable.

I think a lot of travellers are looking for good and safe rouths on the internet. And not every biker want or feel to be a member of a organization.

Would be thankful if somebody could give me a hint about were to find a good map or maps of eastern europe.
Biking is about maximum 1-6 hours each day on the wheels. And 4-12 half liters each day. On interrail you travel from a to b, on bike you travel between a to b. A old visdom word from Norway

Underway in Switzerland

Hi,
I can only give you a hint for bikeroutes in Germany, that are free. We have here a member, that edits them, if you search for radweit in google you'll find them. Otherwise I would utilize the search function, there was a discussion in the german forum about some eastern stuff and there were some links to free map sources. One famous source is a check map server (mapovny ... in the url, here it is ), I donwloaded from another source some really good pedestrian maps, but I don't remember them.
From which country are you?

Oh you're fast
