My wife and I intend to travel with our bikes in Nicaragua for 4-6 weeks (Feb/March 2007). We have made experiences in Costa Rica, Panama and Cuba - so we like it HOT!
There is only little information available in handbooks (any recommendations, we have the Moon-Guide) so I ask you out there about your experiences with biking in Nicaragua.

please try Lonely Planet as Guidebook. Please check the security advises. Northern Nicaragua should be dangerous. That was the reason to cycle this year in Cuba.
