..läßt sich das Vista per USB betreiben - die Akkus werden dabei aber nicht geladen...

Das ist wohl (noch) bei allen (Garmin) Outdoor Navis so!

Das sollte so bei allen Geräten sein, die auch mit einfachen Batterien (nicht wiederaufladbar) betrieben werden können.
