Im Gegensatz zu anderen Langzeitreisenden fand ich das Reisen mit dem Rad eher als Beschäftigung. Könnte nie, wie andere das machen wochenlang irgendwo in Thailand in der Hängematte liegen und vor mich hin tösen.
Das Radeln wird zwar zum Alltag. Man packt, fährt, isst, fährt, isst, zeltet ....
Ich sagte mir einfach immer, wenn ich nur noch unterwegs bin um einfach unterwegs zu sein ist es Zeit heimzugehen. Das Gefühl hatte ich damals in der Sierra Nevada. Ich war auf dem Weg an die Ostküste. War schon über 30'000km unterwegs. Irgendwie bekam ich das Gefühl wieder einmal etwas zu produzieren und nicht nur zu konsumieren.
Also drehte ich nordwärts ab und machte eine Runde in der Sierra Nevada bevor ich nach Paris flog, um von dort zurück in die Schweiz zu radeln.
War glaube ich auch die richtige Entscheidung. Wer weiss?
