Mein Navi-Smartphone läuft ohne SIM-Karte im Flugmodus. Alle wichtigen Funktionen (auch Routing und Ortssuche) sind Offline verfügbar.

Ich vermute, irgendwann wird es bei mir auch darauf hinauslaufen. Nur muss ich dazu erst mal wieder irgendein Gerät finden, auf dem Locus auch fehlerfrei läuft, d.h. mit einer ordentlichen Kartendarstellung mit Höhenlinien und Radwegen. Und danach SIM-Karte raus und nie wieder Software-Update.

Ja, das habe ich mir auch geschworen. Am Navigationshandy (wo gerade alles so läuft, wie ich will) keine SIM-Karte und auch keine Internetverbindung per WLAN mehr. Neue Openadnromaps und Archies gpx werden über den PC runtergeladen und per Kabel kopiert
