for the moment I only can say that I like do freecamping as much as I can and cook my own food, and I usually do betwen 100- 160 kms per day in a full day biking, but I can change the rhythm if somebody came with me, I take rest about two days per week for sightseeing, the usual budget is about 5 - 10 euros per day. I have a normal mountain bike. bye

OK sounds like a good way of biking. I also have a regular mountain bike and I like simple cycling, camping and basic cooking. Please keep me informed in advance about your routes, dates etc ... For now, Good luck with studies !

Hi Victor - first of all I hope you do good in your exams !

Cycling : we can either meet at the Syrian/Jordan border which you have to cross at one time. Or even better, to meet in Syria to tour there which is a beautifull country and very interesting to tour for a couple of weeks.

So, let me know you have more speicifc dates for your route. Myself, I have a Trek mountain bike which I do a lot of touring with. I do about 75 - 100 km /day depending on the terrain.

Jordan is also very interesting for you and me as well. We have beautifull sites and a varried terrain from mountains, valleys and the famous old city of Petra.

The crossing form here to Jerusalem is the most fanatstic and beautifull ride and maybe I can join you on this as well ! depending on my available time.
