Hi There!
I'm looking for somebody, who wants to travel to the east-southeast Asia for one year or longer. We can start anywhere from Europa or you can meet me in Istanbul and stay there for a few days.
Hey, lets go on the road again. I'm fed up with western life style. I need the freedom, adventure and nature again.

Hi there,

I want to do the same - well not exactly the same thing, but close enough. I was planning to go to Japan. I am Austrian and would pass through Istambul. My plan was to go from Istambul to Iran, Turkemistan, Kazachstan, Uzbekistan, China (Shanghai?), Japan (Nagoya). If we decide to go together, we could of course adapt the route. I was thinking of leaving austria in april or so, which means I would be in istambul around the end of april.
If you want to contact me, please email Mail.To.Alex(at)gmx.at or via telephone 0043 1 9255589.

AAhh yes. The feeling is well understood. The love of the open road, of freedom, of adventure is coursing through you like a fire out of control.

I am feeling the same right now, and I too am keen on finding a touring partner for a major world bicycling adventure. I am also getting set to begin a one year contracted job at a university ( if all goes well in the application process, which, at this point in time, it seems that it will). Such a tour would require saving and planning. Cash I have but more I want, and this is a real good job too in an exotic location, not in the US of A and not in the west at all.

Have a great time. Personally, I think loaded, transcontinental, or even if it is not totally transcontinental, bicycle touring is just too very cool for the rest of the world. It is just too cool. When you tour like that you are somebody. That is one thing I found out after bicycle touring---you are somebody. you are cool somebody cool
