There has already been a warning posted in the German forum, and I felt that English readers should also be informed of the current situation in the Sahara. At the moment there are 17 travelers confirmed missing in the region, starting in February of this year. So far this has only happened in Algeria, but there is also danger in Mauretania, Mali, Niger, Libya and Tunesia. My information comes from www.sahara-club.de .
