when you are in tuscon, you HAVE to stay at the gilbert ray campground outside of tucson (i think it's to the west). i forgot what that museum close by is called.... it's a desert museum ......

trust me you will love that campground. while we cycled through northamerica we spend about 1 month in tucson and camped at gilbert ray 3 times!!!! there is also a another one just north of the city but forgot the name--didn't like that one as much as the other one--maybe because it was higher up and it was snowing at the time

have terrific time and watch out for the rattle snakes
