Hi Perroloco,

Most sturdy and durable are double walled rims.
Two good brands are Rigida http://www.rigida.com and Mavic http://www.mavic.com
Some worldtravellers have had problems with the rims from mavic (splitting of the wheel around the spokes).

Good tires are produced by Schwalbe followed by Continental (more prone to punctures)
