Ich bin jetzt den langwierigen Weg gegangen.
GPS66 mit SD Card direkt an den Mac angeschlossen und alle Karten, die ich in Europa für interessant hielt, habe ich so mit MapInstall eingespielt. Das hat nun funktioniert aber auch die halbe Nacht gedauert.
