[Menü] -> [Anzeige konfigurieren] -> Schaltflächen [Kompass] -> wählen zwischen [Always visible|Always hidden|Visible if map is rotated(Hidden when North is up)].
Ja, Du hast Recht, man spielt bei Updates gerne mal an Grundeinstellungen herum, leider
