Für die Haltbarkeit des Nippels ist das irrelevant - im Vierkant steckt kein Gewinde.


Das stimmt so nicht. Hier mal ein Bild eines 14 mm Sapim Nippels. Man sieht deutlich, daß sich ca. 1/3 des Gewindes im Vierkant befindet.
