Hello Rob, I am 20, female. I am walking 1200 Km in Japan right now. On Apr. 8 I am leaving for China to bicycle from Shanghai to Tibet where I will cross to Nepal. I have never done any serious biking in my life, though I have confidence that I can do it. Do you have any tips? about equipment, lodging, food, language, anything that you feel is important for a beginner to know. I would appreciate it if you could email me at a_erie@hotmail.com. Thanks
