Hi, IIago!
I live here in Russia and sometimes tour by bike, so I think there is no problem to realize your plan, even if you will do it solo or partly solo. You have a lot of time for the present to prepare and to gather all necessary information about the country and about bike touring here. If you need any advice or information I could help you.
Alexey.

Underway in Spain

Hi, Alexey, thank you very much for your collaboration, it is sure that I will write to you. I have obtained across google earth the highways and ways of rusia, I am preparing the route so that you could check her. Neither I want to fit to a concrete plan, I like improvising. As soon as it should have something I comment on it to you

Hello Ilago,

for your ride to Russia I recommend " Off the Map: Bicycling Across Sibiria" by Mark Jenkins. Together with four russians and two other americans Mark cycled at the beginning of the 90s from Wladiwostok to Leningrad (St.Petersburg), which was at this time the very first crossing of Russia by bicycle (which was known). I do not know whether this book was translated into spanish, but it should be available in english and german at amazon!

That book is realy too old! They did some parts of the tour along railway lines because ther was no road in the 90th, but today there is one.
