From March to August 2019, I will go by bike from Germany to Taschkent (Usbekistan). The return journey will be by train (Taschkent --> Moscow, Moscow --> Germany). It would be great to know whether it is possible to take the bicycle in the above mentioned trains or even better to get rid of the bicylcle by shipping the bike with a freight forwarder.

Here is my question: Is it allowed to take the bicycle in the trains from Taschkent to Germany? If so, is it necessary to book a ticket forthe bike transport by train in advance? Or even better: Is there a freight forwarder who is able to ship a bike from Taschkent to Germany?

Every hint is appreciated! Best, the langstreckenradler

Hi and Welcome to the Forum,

I would recommend to also post this question in the German part. You might have more readers there and some of them might be able to answer your question (not me wink ).
Gruß, Arnulf
