Bus connection Bishkek - Almaty

Hallo

does anybody know if there is a bus connection from Bishkek (Kirghizistan) to Almaty (Kazakhstan)? Period July / August, 2012.
I have found the train connection, but I would prefer bus.

There are 3 bus every day in schedule on the site of Bishkek bus station: 9.30, 11.30, 12.50.
