Cycling The Philippines - 08/17/10 09:58 AM

Dear All,
we visited the Philippines with our bikes earlier this year, and I wrote about our trip for the German forum before.

We hardly did find any informations about biking in the Philippines in the net except from tour operators.
We have no idea why, because there is no other country in South Asia, which is so easy for bikers.
Enough good roads.
Outside the cities hardly any traffic.
Wonderful landscapes and beaches.
Friendly people.
In the countryside very safe- no cheating.
Very cheap life over there.
And almost everyone speaks English.
My friend Dave from
www.trekandrun.com
asked me to write a little bit in English.
You find it here

I am not from Philippines but my observe that the Philippines has a lot to offer the cyclist with friendly people, spectacular mountain and coastal scenery, much English spoken, and low costs.
