Hello Jorg : YES, I am still interested. I have not figured out exact details yet but most probably starting from Amman to Aqaba ( 350 km ) cross by boat to Egypt and then tour Sinai for at least 10-14 days or more. And if we still have energy, ride to Cairo ! I have a basic mountain bike Trek 4500 and I normally do around 60-75 k/day. The best date for me would be to start around 20th October.
