why do you need 12V?
Well, actually I don't need 12V, I just like better efficiency of 12V systems.
for good light at little money get a dymotec 6 and a B&M iq fly
I don't like very much side bottle-type dynamos but, if I have no other chance ....
i think there should be no problem to fit a state-of-the-art led-headlamp into your oldstyled one

I'd like this solution but it's not possible, both front and rear hubs are already "occupied" by Nexave Roller Brakes and Nexus-7 speed-hub
