it sounds to me as if you got an excellent deal. For some reason it is a lot more expensive to ship a bike to the US. Additionally the customs duties are outrageous here. I guess that they assume that every large box might contain Saddam's weapons of mass destruction. I don't give up the hope that the situation here will improve after November 2nd
However, in early September, a friend will come to visit me in Minneapolis and will bring along my bike. So from September on, I will be no longer just half a person.
