Hi Adventure Bikers, if any of you are passing through Arizona this year espesially the wonderful eclectic community of Bisbee in south eastern Arizona, 3 miles from the Mexican border town of Naco. Drop me an email rhys@zunaniexperience.com and I'll do my best to help you have a good stay. Plenty of trails, history, vistas, good food, cold beer and more. Have a good 2006 and may your adventures and travels be fun & safe.

Always in Adventuer,

Hi Rhys, probably I'll come in Bisbee this April (but your item has been posted Jan. 2006).
Are you still there?
I'm cycling from Tucson to Albuquerque and depending on the weather I take the southern (Bisbee/Douglas/Truth or C itinerary, or Globe Show Low).
I suppose you have some business there?
Already got som info about this special town.

Sincerely, Arie

hi arizona,
when you are in tuscon, you HAVE to stay at the gilbert ray campground outside of tucson (i think it's to the west). i forgot what that museum close by is called.... it's a desert museum ......

trust me you will love that campground. while we cycled through northamerica we spend about 1 month in tucson and camped at gilbert ray 3 times!!!! there is also a another one just north of the city but forgot the name--didn't like that one as much as the other one--maybe because it was higher up and it was snowing at the time tongue

have terrific time and watch out for the rattle snakes grin

Hi Andreas, I saw that Campingsite but since I camp at my cousin's place in Tucson, heading for the Sonora Desert Museum I don't need it.
Thank you anyway.

It's so hot here that some modesty is required, cycling a lot.
So Greyhound will be helpful I hope to continue to ABQ and the Grand Canyon.

Sincerely, arie

Well Andreas, at last a reaction: I was in Tucson and saw this campingsite: just wonderful.
So was the Sonora Desert Museum. Actually I started riding in Colorado, from Durango-Mesa Verde-Monument Valley-Grand Canyon-Oak Creek Canyon-Payson-Globe-Tucson.

Regards, Arie

P.S. At my website (http://www.volkskrantblog.nl) you'll find some pics of the area.
